A software engineer committed suicide by jumping off the 32nd floor of his building in Kokapet under Narsingi limits. The incident came to light late.
A resident of My Home Tarkshya was feeling low for some time now. The man identified as Aman Jain, 32, was living in Tower 1 of My Home Tarkshya with his wife. Both were software engineers. Aman was working for a reputed MNC.
Aman was taking treatment for depression for some time now. During the weekend, Aman Jain went up to the 32nd floor of Tower 1 and jumped off it at around 6.15 am. He woke up and then took the drastic step. At the time, his family was in the house. They had no clue he was having such thoughts.
Based on their complaint, the police are investigating the case. The police say the stress could have been due to work-related issues. CCTV footage was collected for further investigation.
