Telangana Assembly dedicates a day for Farmers issues!

Bogging down to the pressure of opposition parties, Telangana government had agreed to discuss farmers issues and suicides for a full day in the Assembly. The discussion will go on in the house on 29th of this month and that day, question hour and adjournment motions will be cancelled to facilitate time for the crucial issue.

It is said that the Chief Minister had asked the officials to prepare data to reveal how the previous governments have neglected agriculture and he will show how they are the real reason for the farmers suicides today. Telangana ranked second in the country in terms of the farmers suicides. Off late these suicides have increased and reached double digit per day.

On the other side, opposition parties have also asked to take up the discussion on defections in this session but the government refused to add the issue in the agenda. The current session will go on till October 10th. Excluding the holidays, there are nine working days remained effectively.
