Telangana Bill in Assembly: KKR Absent

Telangana Bill in Assembly: KKR AbsentThe Historical Telangana Bill was tabled in the State Assembly a short while ago by Speaker Nadendla Manohar. The bill is of 65 pages containing 13 schedules and is available in Telugu, English and Urdu. As expected the bill created huge ruckus in the house with MLAs of both sides surrounding the speaker podium. While Seema Andhra MLAs are asking to send back the bill, Telangana MLAs are demanding that the discussion should start immediately.

On the other side, Kiran Kumar Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh who is himself projecting as Saviour to Samayikya Andhra was seen suspiciously absent from the house. It is said that he suffered ill health due to food poisoning and may be absent from the house for the whole day. Few Opposition leaders are of opinion that Congress High Command successfully silenced him.
