Telangana by-elections gets a date

State Chief Election Commissioner Bhanwarlal confirmed that the by-elections in Telangana will happen anytime before December 11th. According to rules, Warangal by-election had to be conducted in six months after Kadiyam Srihari resignation which means December 11th is the cut off date.

Bhanwarlal confirmed that the notification for the by-election will come up any time. He also confirmed that Narayankhed Assembly segment will also go for election along with Warangal by-election.

Kadiyam Srihari resigned for Warangal Loksabha segment to become the deputy Chief Minister of the state after Rajaiah’s ousting. Narayankhed is going for by-election with the death of sitting Congress MLA, Patolla.
