Bomb Threat to CMO, Lok Bhavan: Telangana

The city was shaken after bomb threats were reported at the Telangana CMO and Lok Bhavan. An email sent to the Governor’s office by a person claiming to be Khan warned that both locations were under threat.

The email stated that the CMO and Raj Bhavan should be vacated immediately. Security teams quickly moved into action. Bomb squad checks were carried out in both the CMO and Lok Bhavan to ensure safety.

In another case, a bomb threat was issued to a plane flying from Hyderabad Shamshabad to the US. The sender demanded a million dollars to stop the blast. Security personnel isolated the aircraft and conducted thorough checks.

Officials later found that the threatening mail came from New York. Bomb threats through emails and calls have increased in recent times. Security teams continue to comb each location mentioned in these alerts to avoid any risk.
