KCR to garner National wide attention?

The defections in Telangana may very soon garner National wide attention as the Ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti is planning to merge the legislative party of Congress in the state by encouraging Jump Jilanis. TRS is already in talks with an MP, two MLAs and two MLCs of Congress to shift their loyalities.

Some elected representatives from Mahabubnagar and Ranga Reddy districts are also in touch with the TRS leadership. In total, at least, five to six party MLAs were approached by the TRS leadership and they all are waiting for an opportune time to defect. TRS already merged TDP and YSRCP LPs in to itself.

However if that happens for Congress, the tremors are likely to be felt in Parliament as Congress is the main opposition party at the center and it will rake the issue in Parliament for the Union government to intervene. On the other side, such merger will further compound the problems of the main opposition party in Telangana which is already clueless due to back to back electoral defeats.
