T- Engineers to inspect Krishnapatnam!

Telangana engineers may very soon inspect the Krishnapatnam Power Plant in Nellore district to see if the claims of technical issues hindering the power production there are true. The first meeting between both the state officials and discoms of the two states resulted in bitter arguments. While Telangana alleged that AP had intentionally stopped power production there to deprive Telangana of its share,

AP officials clarified that the power production did not begin due to technical issues. AP government offered to allow Telangana engineers to check the plant for which Telangana state officials are making arrangement. It is known that Telangana state had some investment in the power plant but AP government is refusing them power but is only offering them equity for their share.

Telangana government is ambitiously working to purchase power from Chhattisgarh government. But there is no line from Telangana to Chhattisgarh and the line construction will take at least two and half years to complete. KCR is visiting Chhattisgarh to make an MOU for 1000 MW with the state power company.
