Evidence to Refuse AP Bhavan to AP

Telangana government seem to be in no mood of giving a share in AP Bhavan in Delhi to Andhra Pradesh. The state government claims that the VII Nizam, Mir Osman Ali Khan was the rightful owner of the sprawling property and the state has documentary evidence to lay stake on the sprawling property.

Telangana government will be forwarding the evidence to the Central government saying that they are keen on building a ‘Telangana Bhavan’ with adequate facilities, including a cultural centre for the people of Telangana living in Delhi at the site. Telangana government accessed a document from 1936, which reveals that the land was sold to Nizam by the erstwhile British India government

Telangana government is maintaining that since the modern-day AP Bhavan belonged to the erstwhile State of Hyderabad, it rightfully should be allocated to Telangana. KCR government says the residuary state of AP be given separate land for another bhavan. But then AP is insisting Andhra Bhavan division as well on population basis which means Telangana will get 8 acres of the entire 20 acres area.
