Telangana GOs website to be back!

After severe pressure from all quarters and the court case, Telangana government is keen on bringing back the Gos website, goir.telangana.gov.in very soon. Government had setup a committee under Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma to decide up on which GOs should go in to the website. The committee will also decide which GOs should be kept confidential.

The committee had decided not to disclose GOs pertaining to daily expenses. The committee submitted a report to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and up on his nod, the website will be open to public. The government will have to reveal the details of the Gos website to high court on Monday.

Telangana cabinet had decided to bring down the GOs website two months ago. The government back then opined that making G.O.s accessible to public domain is increasing legal issues as various sections are filing cases against the government. But after public lash and court case, the government took back its decision.
