Telangana govt in favour of common EAMCET

Telagana government which batted for separate examination for Intermediate courses however is favourable for the common EAMCET for both the Telugu state. The government has batted for separate Inter exams since there can be partial correction by Seema Andhra examiners.

Since EAMCET do not have such chances, Telangana government is ready for a common EAMCET exam. Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act allows EAMCET to be common for both the states for the period of 10 years. The 15% Non Local Reservation will also be applicable for students of both the states during this 10 years.

On the other side, it has to be seen how the Intermediate weightage will be considered for deciding EAMCET ranks when the two states are going to have different exams with different question papers. Human Resources Ministers of both the states will very soon sit down and decide up on the common EAMCET exam.
