Telangana govt receives first notice in Phone Tapping case!

Andhra Pradesh Police had delivered a notice by Vijayawada court to Telangana Home Secretary, Rajiv Trivedi in the connection to the phone tapping case. This is related to AP Water resources Minister Devineni Uma’s complaint on phone tapping.

In the notices, the court instructed Telangana Home Secretary to make sure call data details are not deleted. Usually the call data gets deleted in 180 days since there is a stay on the case proceedings by the high court, the court ordered to make sure the data is not deleted.

Since the notice is given by the court, Telangana government decided to accept it. Earlier Police in civil dress arrived at CS chamber to deliver the notice. They were made to wait for three hours to meet the CS. Meanwhile, officials briefed the Chief Minister about the notice and sought his permission in accepting them.
