T-govt to bend rules for a favourable GHMC delimitation!

The ruling party seem to be using the delimitation of GHMC wards to their benefit. Until now the government planned to create 200 wards in the GHMC limits but is now reconsidering the idea as it may benefit TDP. The yellow party is strong in the outskirts of GHMC limits. So the government is planning to reduce number of wards there.

TRS favourable core areas and MIM favourable areas will be now made in to more number of wards so that the magic figure for the Mayor seat is achieved. According the number of wards may be limited to 172 reducing the advantage of TDP-BJP combine.

However the ruling party will have to tamper rules for this favourable delimitation. If the rules are followed and 2011 census is taken in to account, core areas should have 88 wards while outskirts should have 112 wards. If the ruling party fails to grab the mayor seat, it will effect the entire state and so the government is being very careful there.
