The media is full of news about the Enforcement Directorate alleging the involvement of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in diverting funds to Young India, along with Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shiv Kumar.
Already, the ED has accused Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and president Rahul Gandhi of laundering funds in National Herald case.
BRS working president KTR has said that the news doesn’t come as a shock as Revanth Reddy is known as the ‘Bag Man’ in Telangana. He shared that Revanth Reddy was caught trying to buy MLAs with Rs 50 lakh in a bag, to destabilize the past government.
KTR went on to say that the ED is alleging that Revanth Reddy, the current CM and the then PCC chief, was involved in bribing the Congress office bearers and sought money from businessmen houses.
KTR put a question to Rahul Gandhi saying that when their party MP in the past, Komatireddy Venkatareddy, alleged that Revanth Reddy bought the post of PCC president by giving Rs 50 crore, your party did not respond. Will you respond at least now, asked KTR.
Now the ED has chargesheeted Revanth Reddy and it is clear that Telangana has become an ATM for the Congress party. Back in the day, it was buying posts and selling posts within the party. Now, it has become an open loot, said KTR speaking to national media.
Also, scam after scam is happening. Amrut, RR tax, civil supplies scam and numerous others have been happening in Telangana, said KTR. Now the loot of ‘scamgress’ leader Revanth Reddy is out in open.
I hope Kharge and leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi who talks of Constitution and nyay will discontinue Revanth Reddy from the post or sack him. We demand action against the Telangana Chief Minister by the party and answers from the party, reiterated KTR.
