Telangana MLC Elections Reflect Power of Social Media in Politics

Nalgonda – Khammam – Warangal MLC elections counting is underway. The second round has completed and five more rounds to go. TRS Candidate Palla Rajeshwara Reddy is leading but closely following him is a surprise.

Independent candidate Teenmaar Mallanna has come second. Telangana JAC Chairman, Kodandaram is third here while the BJP candidate is in the fourth position. Irrespective of the victory or loss, Teenmaar Mallanna’s performance is commendable.

He made social media his base and has been fighting the Ruling Government with just a Youtube Channel. This only underlines the fact that social media is growing extremely important in politics these days. It will only increase in the coming days.

Meanwhile, TRS candidate – Former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao’s daughter Vani Devi is leading from Hyderabad – Rangareddy – Mahabubnagar MLC. She has a slender leader over BJP candidates. Congress is fourth in both seats.
