Telangana Security to Amaravati fete

We have seen AP Police being deployed for Ganesh Nimajjanam in Hyderabad, and now Telangana Police forces are being used at the Amaravati Foundation ceremony. More than 10000 Police personnel belonging to both the Telugu States were deployed all along the route of Gannavaram to Uddandarayunipalem.

Elite forces from the Special Protection Group (SPG) took over the three helipads meant for the landing of Prime Minister and his personal staff. AP Ministers were given different works and they are supervising them continuously until they are completed.

30000 people from surrounding villages came to the venue the last weekend, which reportedly hampered the pace of arrangements. And so from Monday, Police have stopped allowing visitors even to take a glance from a distance.
