Telangana Special Assembly Sitting Concludes in 10 Minutes

Telangana Assembly sat for a Special Sitting today to move a couple of amendments to the proposed Land Acquisition Act which was sent back by the Center. TDP (TS) and BJP MLAs were not allowed to the house as they were suspended previously and the same session is going on.

Congress MLAs have protested in the house to discuss the problems of Mirchi farmers but the Speaker did not allow them. When they have stormed into the Speaker’s well, the government introduced the amendments and they were passed amid the din.

It’s all done in just 10 minutes and the Speaker Madhusudhanachari then announced that the house is adjourned sine die. Even after the adjournment, Congress MLAs have stayed in the house and continued their protests.
