Telangana and Andhra Pradesh MPs topped the list of the richest members of Rajya Sabha. While Telangana’s Dr Bandi Partha Saradhi Reddy emerged as the richest Rajya Sabha MP, Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy secured the second position.
Partha Saradhi Reddy, from the BRS Party, is the richest among all Rajya Sabha MPs with assets of Rs. 5300 crore.
Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy of the YSR Congress Party is in the second position with assets of Rs. 2577 crores.
The total assets of seven Telangana MPs are worth Rs. 5821 crores. The total assets of 11 Andhra Pradesh MPs are valued at Rs. 3935 crores.
Four out of seven MPs in Telangana and five out of 11 MPs in Andhra Pradesh are declared to be billionaires with assets of more than Rs. 100 crores.
Meanwhile, 71% of Telangana and 36% of Andhra Pradesh’s Rajya Sabha MPs are facing criminal cases against them.
