Telangana TDP Can Play A Key Role In AP Election?

There is some activity in Telangana TDP camp ever since Kasani Gnaneshwar took over as the Party President last month. There are some joinings in the party and the party is going to have a big Public meeting in Khammam on 21st of this month.

Chandrababu Naidu will be attending the meeting that day. Telangana TDP is going to be the key for TDP in Andhra Pradesh as well. The party’s depleted vote share stands at 1-3% currently.

If the party can push that to 5%, that will push BJP to stay away from supporting YSR Congress. The Saffron party would sacrifice Jagan for a bit of votes transfer in Telangana which may become crucial in a close election.

In 2019, the Central Government’s and TRS Government’s indirect support to YSR Congress hit TDP big time and influenced that election’s outcome.

Having said that the road ahead is not easy for Telangana TDP because they have too little time in hand. But then if the party can infuse confidence in its traditional votebank that it is serious, it is not really tough.
