Telangana to impose Entry Tax on AP Vehicles!

Starting this April 1st, all the goods transport and transport vehicles from Andhra Pradesh will have to pay entry tax to Telangana government. During the governor’s rule, it is decided that the vehicles plying between both the states need not pay any taxes till March 31st, 2015.

While Andhra Pradesh government wants to continue the No Tax policy till Hyderabad is the common capital, Telangana government decided up on imposing the Entry Tax. Andhra Pradesh government is also likely to impose Tax from vehicles coming from Telangana now.

With this decision, Private Buses, Goods Transport vehicles, Lorries will have to pay Entry Tax while entering the other districts. As a result, the costs of essential commodities and bus tickets are likely to go up burdening the common man in both the states.
