Telugu Community Avoided New York!

It’s springtime in the US, and summer is just around the corner. While many Telugu families typically use this time to travel to India, some are staying back due to various reasons such as job requirements and visa situations.

However, there’s a noteworthy change when it comes to New York City. Telugu folks in the US, who were once captivated by New York City, are now intentionally avoiding it.

Normally, it’s common for families to visit downtown New York and spend a weekend there. However, this year is different. Telugu individuals are staying away from New York due to the unbearable air pollution caused by a series of wildfires in Canada. Videos showing the poor air quality have been circulated among the community, urging people to steer clear of New York.

The polluted air poses a significant health risk, particularly for children and the elderly. People in New York are choosing to stay indoors as a precautionary measure.

Interestingly, it’s not only those from distant cities and states; even Telugu individuals from neighboring states are avoiding New York due to concerns about potential health issues.
