Telugu Lady Gets $12.5 Million if Fired by Elon Musk

Ever since Elon Musk has taken over Twitter, Indian American, and Twitter’s chief lawyer, Vidya Gadde has been in the firing line. As soon as Elon bought the company, he targetted Vidya in a series of tweets.

Vidya Gadde earns a whopping 17 million per annum could be on the chopping block as Musk is reportedly planning to slash jobs and reduce executive pay as he looks to secure financing for his Twitter bid.

But the good aspect of all this is that the Telugu lady gets $12.5 million that including the accelerated vesting of a trove of Twitter shares she has accrued.

Vidya Gadde was described by Politico in 2020 as “the most powerful technology executive you’ve never heard of.” She was the one who was responsible for banning Donald Trump’s handle on Twitter.
