In May 2018, Narendra Modi is favoured by 34% while Rahul Gandhi is following him with 24%. The gap is 17% in January this year and 35% during May of the last year. Coming to the scenario of both the Telugu States, Rahul Gandhi leads over Narendra Modi.

In Andhra Pradesh, 35% Prefer Rahul Gandhi as the Next Prime Minister while only 23% prefer Narendra Modi. In Telangana, 30% Prefer the Congress President while only 19% want to see Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister.

This reflects the Poor Favourability of BJP and Narendra Modi in both the Telugu States. That also reveals how BJP cannot perform in both the Telugu States in 2019. Chandrababu Naidu in AP is rightly using anti-BJP plank to score over the People.
