Terrorism Increased After Demonetization

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Demonetization is a bid to make funds scarce for Terrorists and Maoists as they will struggle to exchange the dumps of Old Notes available with them. But then the idea has backfired. In order to battle the fund’s crunch, Terrorists are looting the banks.

In Jammu and Kashmir, 13 Banks were looted and attempts were made to nine other banks. As a result, many banks in the troubled state have canceled the cash transactions and are only dealing with Cheques troubling the commoners.

On the other side, Army is deployed at the banks to prevent such attacks. Fake Notes Business is also at all time low with the introduction of new notes and so, Terrorists are feeling it easy to rob banks than to launder money through other means.
