TG Venkatesh to fan Separate Rayalaseema movement!

TG Venkatesh, the former Minister in Congress regime shifted to Telugu Desam Party just before the elections after the state division. He managed to get Kurnool seat but could not win the election. TDP did not give him due importance after the election and TG also struggled to gel in the new party.

At last, he announced that he is planning to float a new party alleging that the Center and State are meting out a raw deal to Rayalaseema and Uttarandhra. He is demanding a second capital in Rayalaseema for the growth of the infrastructure, industrial and education sectors in the region.

Some experts say TG Venkatesh do not have the caliber to lead an agitation or separate party and this is just to blackmail Chandrababu Naidu for some plum post in the government. While some feel that these type of movements can not be ignored after the experiences of Telangana movement.
