The Tragedy of Telangana TDP!

Immediately after its annual Mahanadu and just before the crucial MLC elections, Telangana TDP had got one more shock with its Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao defecting to Telangana Rashtra Samiti. This come as a shock as Madhavaram attended Mahanadu the previous day. He even had the lunch at Mahanadu and even made a donation to the party fund.

Madhavaram even after joining TRS party said, “I should touch the feet of Chandrababu Naidu and thank Lokesh for my political journey so far. But I am left with no option to join TRS for my constituency development”.

The very statement indicates the tremendous pressure on Opposition MLAs by the ruling party. There are allegations that the TRS government is hitting the businesses of the opposition MLAs and resorting to blackmailing techniques. All this to win that fifth MLC seat in the elections tomorrow.
