As said earlier, all the ministers or most of the ministers will have to make way for the newcomers. Jagan promised the outgoing ministers enough respect in the party.
They will be made as in charges to the party in districts on a new name and will be given the responsibility to make the party win in the 2024 elections.
But the outgoing ministers are not at all happy with this arrangement.
“This is not respect or any new post. It is an additional burden (responsibility). After losing power, how do we impact the politics, especially before elections?” they lament.
“We will not command respect from the officials and also the cadre. Also, there is a chance for rifts due to power centers (old ministers and new ministers),” they add.
“Our political future will be at stake. Losing power and losing the goodwill of failed election duties can be disastrous,” a minister from Uttarandhra says.
Political experts say that this will be a failed experiment or just for the namesake arrangement.
