This Time, KCR’s Silence Can Be A Big Danger

When it comes to Politics, KCR is very different.

He considers himself very special. On most occasions, he remains silent and confines himself to his Farm House.

This has been the norm since the agitation days, and even today, when the BRS is relegated to the Opposition after two terms in power.

He refuses to go to the Assembly and does not want to take the name of the People’s elected Chief Minister.

But KCR barely cares for the criticism. He does not change his ways.

He has maintained the same silence ever since the Kavitha controversy erupted.

A letter of Kavitha pointing out the mistakes of the party got leaked and there were speculations that Kavitha maybe joining the Congress Party or may float a new party.

A section of BRS leaders also started targeting Kavitha.

Kavitha, today, called for a Press Meet and indirectly targeted her brother, KTR.

KCR remained silent on this issue until today. Knowing KCR, it is unlikely he will respond to it even now.

But then, this silence may cost him and the party big time.

It is quite common to lose leaders in the Opposition. Leaders leaving the party will make comments on the leadership too.

But then, the case of Kavitha is entirely different.

She is a female leader, a family member, a good orator, and an active participant in the Telangana Agitation.

So, people will have her sympathy and attention towards her.

If Kavitha continues to rant in the media, it will be a big blow to the party.

It will also be a blow to KTR’s Political Future and BRS’s immediate future.

The Public and Media attention has moved away from the Government failures to the Family Feud already.

It will become even worse from here if it is left unchecked.

KCR in the past never bothered even though his silence negatively impacted the party. But this time, it is very different.

For once, the party needs him to be vocal and proactive.
