He was speaking on the occasion of World Population Day. Chandrababu said there was a time when I used to tell single child is enough. Two children are okay, but three children are a no-no.

Today, the world dynamics have changed. Now I encourage couples to have three or more than three children. They are true patriots. We must respect such people.

Go ahead and have more children. We will provide incentives to mothers and families that have more children, said the Chief Minister.

I was the one who had brought an Act that stopped people with more than 2 children from contesting in local body elections in combined Andhra Pradesh.

Now, my perspective has changed. I am asking people to give suggestions about promoting population growth. When situations change, new developments emerge, we must take corrective measures and go ahead, said Chandrababu.
