Tirupati Balaji to come up in all states!

The replicas of World famous Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam will come up in every state of the country as the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board is drafting plans to bring the Lord nearer to devotees across the country. The replica temples will need at least 10 acres of land with administration also exactly on the lines of the TTD.

Once the plan is ready, TTD will be contacting the chief secretaries, and if necessary chief ministers, of all the states for allotment of land for the proposed temples.The same poojas and rituals being performed at Tirumala since ages would be followed in the replica temples too.

Temples in all the states will look exactly similar. Currently TTD is planning two temples of Lord Venkateswara – one at Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu (10 acres) and the other at Kurukshetra in Uttar Pradesh. They are currently being constructed. TTD plans to bring them under the new project with necessary changes in the design and standards.
