Top 2 Richest MPs: 1 From TS, 1 From AP

In an interesting turn of events, two Rajyasabha MPs from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are ranked top 2 on the list of richest MPs in the country.

The two MPs are BRS’s Parthasarathi Reddy who has Rs 5,300 crores declared assets and money to his name.

YCP’s Ayodhyaram Reddy is also sent to the Rajyasabha and he has assets and money worth Rs 2,577 crores.

The total monetary value of the 225 Rajyasabha MPs is Rs 18,210 crores and these two MPs alone are worth 43.25%.

And another interesting statistic here is that the 16 MPs from BRS and YCP are worth 86.02% of the total value of the 225 MPs declared assets.

BJP(85) and Congress(30) MPs have assets worth Rs 4128 crores. The 16 MPs are worth Rs 9157 crores. These numbers are from ADR agency.

Out of the 225 MPs, a total of 75 MPs have criminal cases filed against them.
