TRS Ahead In Munugode By-Election

The counting for the fiercely fought Munugode by-election is underway. While the final result was expected to come by 1.30 PM, the counting is not even half done now.

From the results available now, TRS is leading with over 2,000 votes.

Choutuppal, the Mandal where BJP is very strong has disappointed the party. The party got a very slender lead here which may have sealed its chances.

The coming rounds have TRS strongholds and the Car Party is likely to have a comfortable victory.

Pollsters are expecting a big win for TRS with over 10,000 votes majority.

BJP candidate Rajagopal Reddy also looked shaky while talking to the media. He openly admitted that their expectations over Choutuppal Mandal were not met.

The body language of the BJP leaders is not looking positive in the TV debates.

Munugode By-election can be termed as very crucial in the face of Telangana politics. The election is considered the semi-final for the 2023 Telangana assembly elections.
