TRS bangaya GHMC ka Baadshah

Ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti is on track for creating history in GHMC elections. So far the single largest majority for a party in GHMC elections is only 52, TRS is heading towards bettering that by double majority. In the process is also likely to get a century of wards in Baldiya.

Except for some areas in Old City, TRS wave is equally big in all the zones even in settlers majority areas. This result is likely to change the political equations in Telangana particularly in Hyderabad. KCR who is dealing opposition with iron fist until now will go more aggressively in coming days.

This comes at a time when TRS skipped contesting last GHMC elections in 2009 fearing defeat. In 2014 elections, TRS managed to open its account for the first time managing to win three MLA seats in GHMC limits. TDP and BJP won 15 out of 24 MLAs in the last elections which means their voters have shifted to TRS in the last couple of years.
