TRS make news once again by calling for Bandh

Telangana Rashtra Samiti, the ruling party of Telangana seem to be struggling to leave back the agitation mode. TRS had called for a bandh in Mahabubnagar protesting against AP government’s efforts to stall Palamuru Lift Irrigation scheme.

Palamuru Lift project is a illegal project planned by KCR government. The foundation stone of the project was recently laid by the Chief Minister with out taking any permissions from the Center and other agencies.

This project if complete will increase the water woes of Rayalaseema region. AP government had written to the center to interfere in this issue. Opposing this, TRS called for a bandh in Mahabubnagar. This is second bandh given by the ruling party after assuming to office. Previously they have called for a Telangana bandh opposing merger of seven mandals of Khammam in to AP. Never in politics, a ruling party gives call for Bandh.
