Kavitha Confirms Contesting for Assembly

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao’s daughter and Nizamabad MP, Kavitha has declared that she will be contesting for the Assembly in the coming elections. But she did not confirm the Assembly seat she is going to contest for.

There are rumours for a long time about Kavitha swimming against the tide in her Nizambad constituency and she may skip contesting there totally and opt for a safer Assembly seat somewhere. This is the first time she confirmed it.

With Kavitha contesting for Assembly, four members of KCR’s family will be in race for the Assembly in the coming elections – K Chandrasekhara Rao, Taraka Ramarao, Harish Rao and now Kavitha unless KCR contests for Parliament to concentrate on National Politics.
