TS Polls: Calm Before The Storm

Telangana elections have reached the pinnacle point with the election campaign period drawing to a close today. The campaigning phase was brought to a halt at 5 PM today upon relevant orders from the Election Commission.

No more election campaigns are allowed for the next 36 hours or so as this is a contemplation period for the voters to assess the conditions and pick the right representatives to the assembly.

The likes of Priyanka Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Modi, Amit Shah, Revanth Reddy, KCR, and KTR have already wrapped up their political campaigns and they will patiently wait for the D-day – 3 December, the day of counting.

Liquor stores and wine shops will remain shut for the next three days as the election fever well and truly sets in.

This should be regarded as the calm before the storm as what follows is a highly intense political war between BRS, BJP, and Congress. Will KCR become the chief minister for the third time or will Telangana see a new chief minister for the first time since formation? We will know in a few days from now.
