TTD Assets: 16K Crore Deposits, 10K Kilos Gold

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Board has issued a white paper on the investments and deposits belonging to the holy shrine and here’s a brief summary of the same.

The TTD has stated that as on 30 September 2022, TTD has bank investments of Rs 15,938 crores. The funds are in 24 different bank accounts.

The TTD had Rs 13,025 crore as on 30 June 2019 and now it has Rs 15,938 crore which demonstrates that the TTD’s assets have grown substantially in the last three years.

Also, TTD had announced that it has 10,258 kilos gold deposits in two banks. This also marginally higher than the 7339 kilos it had in 2019.

The rumors spread on social media that TTD Board and Chairman, TTD have decided to invest in Government of India securities or Government Securities of Andhra Pradesh are completely false, the statement from TTD goes on to read.

TTD board has also decided not to invest in any of the central or state government securities.
