TV5 Survey: Landslide Victory Predicted for TRS

TV5 News Channel in association with Flash Team published its First Survey Findings of Telangana Elections. The Survey has predicted a whopping 90 (+/-5) seats for the Ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti with a massive 44-48% Vote Share.

The Main Opposition Party, Congress is expected to get a paltry 15 (+/-5) seats even with a decent 30-34% Vote Share. BJP is expected not to retain its 2014 tally with 3 (+/-1) seats predicted. MIM will retain its bastion with 7 (+/-1) seats.

Others which means TDP, Communists, TJS are put at 2 (+/-1) seats which means some of these parties may not even open their account. BJP is expected to have 7-9% Vote Share while TDP (5-6%), CPI/CPM (2%), TJS (2%) and Others (6-8%).

It has to be seen if there will be any change of fortunes for Congress with Mahakutami. Interestingly, Rahul Gandhi has scored better than Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister’s Choice in Telangana. This may be the only solace for Congress from this Survey.
