TVS Plant coming in Nellore!

Nellore district may have missed Hero Motocorp to Chittoor but now is getting one more two wheeler manufacturing giant, TVS. It is said that the company had zeroed in setting up a manufacturing plant here and the revenue officials are busy collecting the 1000 acres land required for the plant.

TVS has plants in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh in India and this is the fourth manufacturing plant in India. The company has one more manufacturing unit in Indonesia. This new plant will mostly cater the needs of Company’s exports.

Close proximity to National Highway and Krishnapatnam Port prompted the company to select Tada in Nellore. The MOU between the company and the state government will be signed after the company finalizes its production target, investment and job creation milestones here.
