Two Cycle Parties and History Repeats!

Political scenario is drastically changing in Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi Party. We have seen Mulayam Singh Yadav expelling Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for Six Years and later revoking the suspension announcing a truce in 24 hours. But then the joy is shortlived for the party supporters.

Samajwadi’s National Convention passed the proposal of replacing Mulayam Singh Yadav with Akhilesh as the Party’s National President. The National Convention proposed Mulayam Singh Yadav to be considered as party’s supreme leader & top brass will take his guidance.

Interestingly, Samajwadi Party also has the Cycle Symbol like TDP. It is known that in 1995, Chandrababu also revolted against the then TDP Chief, NTR. Lakshmi Parvathi, the second wife of NTR is the reason for TDP revolt then and now Mulayam’s Second wife, Sadhana Singh is said to be one of the reasons for Samajwadi’s coup.
