U.S. Flag Raised At The New Consulate In India

The US consulate in Hyderabad has moved to a new office and the U.S. Consul General, Jennifer Larson took to social media to affirm the same.

“Today we raised the American flag at the new U.S. Consulate General in #Hyderabad! I’m grateful to everyone who worked to make this day and this amazing facility possible, and I’m eager to keep building the U.S.-India partnership in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha!” Larson tweeted a little while ago.

The new office is located in the Nanakramguda area of Hyderabad and it has resumed operations in a full fledged manner today.

The new consulate facility in Hyderabad was constructed on a budget of $340 million and it is a big step forward in issuing more visas and strengthening the U.S.-India relations.

Last year, the Hyderabad Consulate General issued more than 18,000 visas while US companies have invested billions of dollars in the region’s tech and pharmaceutical industries.

The new consulate’s address is – Sy. No. 115/1, Financial District, Nanakramguda, Hyderabad, Telangana, 500032.

Important Note: Visa applicants who already have scheduled interviews should report to U.S. Consulate’s new facility at Nanakramguda. For all other visa services, biometrics appointments, dropbox appointments, passports pickup will continue to be provided at (VAC) HITEC City office.
