One More Senior Leaving TDP(TS)

Former Minister and TDP Leader, Uma Madhava Reddy will be joining the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti on 14th of this month. She met Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao a little while ago and finalized the deal to join TRS.

This is a big blow for TDP (TS) after losing Revanth Reddy to Congress. Uma Madhava Reddy’s name earlier was heard in connection with Nayeem case but the case did not progress any further. There are rumors that TRS is keen on admitting her to the party and give her Bhuvanagiri MP ticket.

Uma Madhava Reddy’s husband, Madhava Reddy was home minister earlier in Chandrababu Naidu’s regime but was killed in a Naxal bomb attack. Uma Madhava Reddy has agreed to join TRS after getting assurance about the political future of her son, Sandeep for KCR himself.
