Undavalli joining Telugu Desam!

In what could be a sensational political development, rumours are rife that Former Congress MP, Undavalli Arun Kumar may be joining Telugu Desam Party. Undavalli’s son, Sriraj met Nara Lokesh on Wednesday in his residence and they spoke at length for about an hour.

Sriraj after the meeting told media that Lokesh is a good friend and the meeting is a casual one. However it is reliably learnt that politics took the center stage in their meeting. Undavalli who was with Congress party for about three decades resigned to the party after the State Bifurcation and later joined Kiran Kumar Reddy’s Jai Samayikya Andhra Party. He did not even contest the 2014 elections.

Undavalli was a thorn in the flesh of Chandrababu Naidu and his close media aide, Ramoji Rao. He relentlessly waged a war of Ramoji Rao’s Margadarsi during YSR’s tenure. If he is admitted in to TDP, that may even stain the relations of Ramoji Rao and Chandrababu Naidu too. However as leader, Undavalli is known to be a very effective speaker with comprehensive knowledge on every issue.
