Unethical Venky Politics? Utter Scrap Talk

Venkatesh Daggubati is usually a very apolitical person but he is making a handful of political appearances over the last few days. In Khammam, Venky campaigned for Congress candidate Raghuram Reddy who happens to be his close relative.

Today, Venky campaigner for NDA candidate Kamineni Srinivas in Kaikaluru, Andhra Pradesh. This is again a warm gesture from Venky for a good friend of his.

But this has resulted in YCP activist batch on social media comments about Venkatesh’s ethics. They are questioning how could Venky campaign for a Congress candidate in Telangana and then go on to campaign for an NDA candidate in AP.

The essential fact here is that Venkatesh doesn’t belong to any party. All he is doing is campaigning for his friends, which is coming out of his sheer goodwill. He has the right to campaign for whichever candidate he wants beyond party lines.

Using this as a reason to mock Venkatesh, who has zero haters will certainly kick back at YCP. These activists have no right to question Venky’s free choices. In fact, they would have been praising the same hero to the sky had he campaigned for any YCP candidate.
