Unprecedented: Center Debits 107 Crore From AP Account

Central Government has done something unprecedented to recover its pending dues from Andhra Pradesh Government.

AP Government owes 107 Crore to Solar Energy Corporation and is not paying the amount for a long time despite many reminders.

Central Government which is part of the Tripartite agreement has invoked a rarely used clause for recovery.

The Central Government has debited 107 Crores from Andhra Pradesh’s account in RBI.

The concerned minister has revealed in Parliament to a question asked by BJP MP CM Ramesh.

The Minister also revealed that AP Discoms owes 7,486 Crore to various power companies including those belonging to the Central Government.
