Unusual Demands Of TDP From BJP

National media houses are buzzing with speculations about a possible alliance of TDP and BJP. Both the parties did not make any official statement but the rumors are rife.

Pro-BJP media houses are also airing these reports. BJP is a miniscule force in Andhra Pradesh politics and would not add much value to TDP’s tally.

In fact, TDP will be hoping that they do not ask for too many seats and give them to YSR Congress on a platter. The gains TDP is expecting from this alliance are different.

“Close to the election, the Central Government should change the Chief Secretary and DGP. DCPs in several areas should be changed as well. If possible, a favorable or neutral Election Commissioner should be brought,” TDP fans are expecting.

But then, these expectations are too much from BJP.

“Why would BJP hurt YSR Congress for TDP? At best, TDP can offer the support of its MPs to BJP and YSR Congress would do the same for BJP. So, what will be the extra gains TDP will bring?,” political experts say.
