US Hubby Gives Hyderabadi Wife Talaq on Whatsapp

Looks like it is the family tradition of this man’s to give “Talaq” online to their wives. As per Muslim custom, saying Talaq three times is considered to be claiming the separation with the partner. Hussain Quraishi, an Indian who is a techie in the US has sent the message “Talaq” thrice to her wife on Whatsapp.

Mahreen Noor, the wife of Hussain, lives in Hyderabad with her in-laws. She complained that her in-laws have been torturing her from a long time forcing her to leave the home and now she receives Talaq which she denied, though. She said that she didn’t receive any such message.

This isn’t the first time that this kind of divorcing happened in Hussain’s family. Hussain’s brother too has given the divorce to his wife, in the same way, a six months ago. Looks like, this has become a trend nowadays as there are a few incidents reported of online divorcing.
