Utility Major interested in AP’s Smart Cities

Essel Utilities, the first integrated utility company in India that has recently acquired power and water distribution projects for major cities in the states of Madhya Pradesh,Bihar,Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra, has evinced interest in participating in the development of smart cities in Andhra Pradesh state.

ESSEL Group Chairman Subash Chandra has announced that the company is planning to start ‘Smart Utilities’ project which will bid for the various services of smart cities in AP like Power supply, Water supply, Sanitation, waste management, laying Wi-Fi cables, Broadband cables, To home gas connections, Intelligent Traffic management etc. The company will bid for the planning and design of all these services.

The Group Chairman said that he is very impressed with AP government’s vision for imparting best services to its citizens and his group will want to play its part in this humongous responsibility.
