V Hanumantha Rao’s casteist remarks on Governor

Congress Senior Leader and Rajya Sabha MP, V Hanumantha Rao who is always known for his controversial comments is at it once again. This time he directly targeted ESL Narasimhan, the Governor of both the Telugu States. Hanumantha Rao alleged that Governor’s frequent visits are troubling the devotees at the temples.

He also found fault with Governor conducting Panchanga Sravanam, a day before Ugadi. He went on to make controversial remarks that Brahmins are doing over action after ESL Narasimhan’s appointment. He also reminded that President of India when visits Tirumala will be very diginified but Governor roams with out a shirt.

It is known that ESL Narasimhan is a very religious man and frequently goes to various temples in both the Telugu States along with his wife. There are several allegations about Narasimhan doing very little to resolve the issues between both the Telugu states but is only confining to temple visits. But this statement by an MP comes as a surprise.
