Vaastu issues hampered the big decision?

Andhra Pradesh government earlier planned a temporary secretariat at Amaravati township near Mangalagiri but now has now decided to change the location. It is said that vaastu reasons have prompted the change in this decision.

The Township was created by the erstwhile Vijayawada-Guntur-TenaliMangalagiri Urban Development Authority (VGTMUDA) about 25 years ago. But people who bought plots there did not prefer to take up construction of buildings.

Back in 2007, the state government allotted nearly 23 acres to a private firm and another 40 acres for an IT SEZ. Both the projects failed to take off. A multiplex was also proposed. But none of these proposals materialized. Taking all this in to consideration, the government decided to go for a change.
