Vamsi Episode Indicates The Pressure on TDP Leaders?

It is confirmed that Gannavaram TDP MLA, Vallabhaneni Vamsi is joining YSR Congress. He is likely to resign for his MLA position but at the same time, it is not guaranteed if he will contest the by-election as YSR Congress Candidate. News Reports say Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy did not give any assurance to Vamsi about the Ticket.

Vamsi was promised to be made the District President of the party and Jagan is contemplating to field him for Vijayawada Loksabha in the next elections. Vamsi previously contested as Vijayawada MP in 2009 elections but lost. Meanwhile, he will be accommodated as MLC.

Vamsi is reportedly ready to join YSR Congress unconditionally. Political Experts say if Vamsi is not given Gannavaram Ticket, that will only indicate the pressure on the Opposition leaders in YSR Congress Rule. Vamsi is sacrificing his MLA position even though he has four and a half years tenure left. He should have spent a huge amount to win the election.

He is ready to take the MP seat which proved to be difficult for him in the past. It is known to our readers that the YSR Congress Government registered a case on Vamsi for forging House allotment letters and distributing to the people before the elections.
